More likely to appear are less serious side effects, that mustn’t make you stop taking Fosamax, such as: abdominal discomfort; stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation; headache; muscle, bone, or joint soreness or aches; eye pain; a rash; or an altered sense of taste. Discuss every unusual and bothersome side effect with your healthcare specialist.
You should seek emergency medical attention and mustn’t take Alendronate any more if any of the following serious side effects occur: any type of allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives; difficulty or pain during swallowing; chest pain; pain or burning under the ribs or in the back; new or worsening heartburn.
