If I've smoked for only 2 years, can I start with medium patch, not large?

This depends on how addicted you are to nicotine. Try to estimate your dail dose of nicotine and use the patch with corresponding numnbers.

First step is using Nicotinell large patch, e.g. 21 mg/24 hours for 3-4 weeks. Then go to stage 2 and use Nicotinell medium its l4mg/24 hours for 3-4 weeks. After this use Nicotinell small patch, e.g. 7mg/24 hours for 3-4 weeks. Or follow the recommendations of your doctor. Good luck and be healthy!
