Rogaine promotes hair regrowth from their thinning or loosing.
Please, ask prescription from your doctor before using Rogaine.
- Before applying Rogaine, wash your head with a mild shampoo and dry it.
- Wash your hands after applying Rogaine Solution.
- Apply Rogaine Solution on your head.
- Allow the solution to remain on the head for at least 4 hours before washing.
- Wait until the solution is dry before using other hair care products.
Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Rogaine.
Rogaine dilates blood vessels in the scalp, which improve hair follicle function and stimulate scalp hair growth.
Use regular dosing schedule of Rogaine, and do not use 2 doses at once.
Store Rogaine at room temperature in a tightly closed container. Keep away from heat and light. Keep Rogaine out of the reach of children and away from pets.
Rogaine is to be used only by the patient for whom it is prescribed. Do not share it with other people.
Rogaine Safety information
It is not recommended to use Rogaine if you are allergic to any ingredient in Rogaine.
Keep in mind:
- Do not use Rogaine with other medications or ointments on the head.
- Don’t do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Rogaine.
- Rogaine is for topical use only. Avoid getting solution in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If Rogaine gets in your eyes, wash them out with cool tap water.
- If you do not see improvement after 4 months, check with your doctor.
- You may temporary loss hair after beginning use with Minoxidil Solution. Contact your doctor if you continue to lose hair after 2 weeks.
- Do not use Rogaine on irritated or sunburned head.
- Discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Rogaine during pregnancy. Do not breast-feed while taking Rogaine.
- Minoxidil Solution will not improve hair loss caused by scarring or deep burns on the head.
Rogaine Side effects
Notify your nurse if any of these most common side effects persist or become bothersome:
- unwanted hair growth elsewhere on the body.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these severe side effects occur:
- severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue);
If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
