Losartan is a medication used for treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It may be used alone or together with other medications. It was scientifically proved that patients with black color of skin get less effect with this drug, as with ACE inhibitors - captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec) and lisinopril (Zestril).
