Hy!!! I have a questions about the reactions of atacand.My boyfried has a hypertension and his doctor recommended him to take 8 mg of atacand daily.He is taking them now from about 3 months.During this period the blood pressure was stabilised.But even though, there are fluctuations.Days when he is confronted with a high blood pressure.Is it recommened to double the dose?Is it possibile that atacand could create such symptoms, to create high blood presure?

We do not recommend to double the dose. Please monitor: in which days the blood pressure of your boyfriend fluctate. Maybe this is connected with stressfull situations. The you should try to calm him, and there'll be no fluctations. Never double dose of Atacand without prescription, and do not stop it suddenly.
