Aciphex (Rabeprazole) is a medicine used to treat excessive stomach acid production, that causes ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease. It works by reducing acid production in your stomach.
Aciphex is usually taken once daily as a whole pill. Very important is not to crush it, but to swallow it whole.
If you miss a dose of Aciphex, take it the same day, you remember.
Store this medicine at room temperature.
Aciphex Safety information
Do not spend much time at the sun if you take Aciphex because it increases your skin sensibility.
Do not take Aciphex if:
- You have an allergy to any of its components
- You are pregnant
Take only if it is clearly needed during breast feeding.
Aciphex Side effects
The most common side effect from using this medicine is headache. If you felt a severe allergic reaction, like rash, hives difficulty breathing, that happens rarely, call emergency.
